Hey Newspaperman …

Hey the Michael Jordan of fantasy baseball, how ya like these stats from your boy Francisco Liriano?
0.2 innings pitched, 81.00 ERA and a 12.00 WHIP. What, you couldn’t play Wandy Rodriguez? What about Luke Hochevar. You’re reaching son, in a bad way. The Jon can say whatever he wants. Newspaperman hides when he gets called out and is probably somewhere blubbering with the crying snot all over his Buzz Lightyear pajamas holding a gold foil Liriano card saying, “Why? Why?”

Oh, and as always, your team sucks. Peace.

  1. Oh, Jon strikes again. Liriano is not hurting me, I’m smart enough NOT to start the guy yet. Newspaperman admits he should have gone in a different direction on draft day, but I’ve got guys who are making noise inhis place: Zack Greinke, Brian Bannister just to name a few.

And why bring up Hochevar and Rodriguez? I OWNED (notice the past tense) those guys in the SLO league, a league in which YOU own Liriano. Oh, and I’m kicking your ass over there 10-4. Scoreboard. Yeah, bitch. I called it myself.

  2. What you found a bag of peanuts at the zoo and think you can go one on one with the greatness. So if you win 10-4, which won’t happen after this weekend, your record will be 22-34. Strive to be no. 1 … wait make that No. 8.
As for Liriano, The Jon doesn’t even need to play that guy with the best staff in SLO.

  3. Hey, if I win 10-4, that’ll be a great way to turn around my season … not to mention that those 10 wins would come against you, the annual pain in my ass come playoff time. I am looking to avenge two years of disappointment.

And don’t speak about your great staff, you’re losing all the meaningful pitching categories.

  4. Yeah, you wouldn’t want Santana, Halladay, Volquez, Carmona, Lee with Wainwright sitting on your bench. And all Manny Corpases aside. Umm, 10 games under .500 … scoreboard. And you won’t beat me 10-4, The Jon will come back tonight.

And annual pain in your ass? That’s the best you can come up with Pollyana? You are a loser.
